We’re back for a second Under the Hood in under a week, who can believe it?
It’s also hard to believe that a few months have passed us by since we first mentioned vanity items, and how they’d allow you to take your customization in Need for Speed Payback to the next level.
Game development is a constantly evolving process and things do change over time. One of the changes that we’ve made between the customization announcement and now, is the inclusion of a new type of vanity item…horns.
Applying custom horns to your car will, as you would have guessed it, allow you to add a little bit more personalization in the form of various sound effects and melodies. The perfect way to complete your dream build.
Imagine it now, you’re in a multiplayer Speedlist, tied going into the last event and you bring home the win. What better way to celebrate than by driving over the finish line while unleashing a few notes of if you're happy and you know it. Satisfying.
